Germaine De Peralta
East Wind welcomes Germaine De Peralta, Reiki Master/Teacher and Crystal Healing Practitioner this May 2017. Germaine is an experienced energy healing therapist and offers her (private) services at East Wind, 361 Richmond Road, Westboro.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing at deeper emotional, mental, physical and even spiritual levels. It is administered by the “laying on of hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s life force is low then we are more likely to get sick, feel stressed or feel negative. Reiki corrects imbalances in our energy field and breaks apart our negative energies, so that we are more able to feel happy, healthy and peaceful.
Combined with crystals, Reiki delivers more powerful healing as it marries the energies of the Universal Life Force of unconditional love, with the nurturing and grounding energies of Mother Earth through crystals.
Germaine brings a broad and open-minded perspective and compassionate approach to people from all walks of life, primarily due to her multi-national upbringing, which enabled her to get to know people from different cultures. As her father was in the diplomatic service, she was born in Germany, and grew up as well in Switzerland, Taiwan, Hawaii, and Vancouver. She also worked as a journalist in Philippines and Singapore for 15 years before moving to Canada. Germaine has lived in Ottawa for ten years, working in both the public and private sectors mainly in the field of communications.
With a lot of life’s experiences behind her and her love for helping people, she is able to work with clients effectively towards their healing goals. Aside from healing sessions, Germaine will also conduct workshops in Reiki I and 2.
